The Georgian castle is the family home for Malcolm, the Master of Forbes, and his wife the Honourable Mrs Jinny Forbes. Inspired by the beauty and the abundance of natural subtle fragrances in the Highlands, Jinny began to create her own pot pourris and scents to complement her home.

Spurred on by the widespread praise for her creations, Jinny joined forces with a friend who has 30 years experience in the fragrance industry to develop a collection of fine perfumery, room fragrances, scented candles and pot pourris.

The castle's former dairy, a pretty miniature castle, was adapted to accommodate the fragrances some years ago and is now probably the smallest perfumery in the world.

The fragrances are created in the manner of ‘Grand Perfumery’ using the finest quality essential oils including genet absolute, the pure extract of Broom - the Clan Forbes’ cap badge.

The collection is sold in selected perfumeries in Europe, the USA and the British Isles.
